Holidays in Queensland Oct 2006

It was Max's first flight ever. (Sydney/Brisbane/Sydney with Virgin Blue)

Thomas had his fourth trip on a plane and was still excited. Kevin stayed at home this time as he had a few things to do, eg. sealing the slate flooring in the kitchen. The kids were well behaved aboard the plane and Max loved the take-off and landing the most. Luckily it was only a 1 hour and 20 minute flight.

We celebrated Thomas' 10th birthday in Brisbane too. On his actual birthday (2nd October) my sister, Joyce and I took him to watch a movie "Monster House". We also went Ten Pin Bowling and later enjoyed Baskin 'n Robins treats. He was quite happy about it and just had dinner at Mum's place with his Aunts and Uncle. I took the kids to Seaworld on the Gold Coast, went shopping at Harbour Town (Southport), Sanctuary Cove-Hyatt (Gold Coast), swimming at South Bank and went to see all their other cousins on the Sunshine Coast, and while we were there, we went to see Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, CRIKEY! It was fantastic! The kids had a great time in both theme park and zoo. On our very last day we went back to Sanctuary Cove-Hyatt to have a swim (man made beach) and we had lunch there with Ate Beth, Boboy, Cris & their Kuya Dennies and to see their Auntie Joyce (working in Hyatt) to say thank you and goodbyes.

Max on Ice

Maxwell joined the Penguin Club at the Ice Arena in Norwest last July this year. He goes every Monday from 9.30am - 11.00am and he loves doing it. He's on his 10th lesson and he starts gliding and doing half turn on ice already. Keen little bugger!
